“55th ANNIVERSARY OF RADIO HAVANA CUBA CONTEST”

On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of Radio Havana Cuba, [shortwave station] invites listeners to participate in a competition marking that important date.
The question you must answer is as follows:
How do you evaluate the permanence of Radio Havana Cuba in the shortwave bands and its programming, 55 years after its foundation?
The jury will award 5 Prizes and 50 Mentions, consisting in Cuban handicrafts and souvenirs from our station.
Deadline:  December 31st, 2016.

RVA Frequency Changed

Radio Veritas Asia has been Implemented a Two (2) Transmitters since last night (19 October 2015). In view of the recent typhoon and due to the defects in one of RVA transmitters, they have to do so. Following the details changed : (From 19 October 2015) MORNING BROADCAST: TELUGU from 0030-0057 UTC was moved to 0100-0127 UTC. URDU simulcast on 17860 KHz at 0100-0127 UTC was deleted. EVENING BROADCAST: VIETNAMESE at 1030-1127 UTC was deleted. VIETNAMESE AT 1300-1327UTC  was adjusted to 1300-1357 UTC. HINDI at 1300-1330 UTC on 11870 KHz was moved to 1400-1427 UTC on the frequency of 9520 KHz BENGALI at 1400-1427 UTC on 11870 KHz was moved to 11640 KHz.             Due to disturbance of CRI Bangla 11870 kHz replaced with 11825 kHz from 21.10.2015 CHIN at 1330-1400 UTC was reduced to 1330-1357 UTC to give way for the antenna shifting.
